GATFFEST Rewind is the official opening event of the 2026 GATFFEST Film Festival and a celebration of 13 years of powerful storytelling, creativity, and cultural impact through film. Taking place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, the event will showcase over 30 award-winning local and international short films that screened at GATFFEST between 2013 and 2025, bringing audiences the very best of the festival’s cinematic journey.

Running from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, GATFFEST Rewind will feature four curated film blocks highlighting some of the festival’s most memorable and acclaimed productions. Audiences will also have the opportunity to vote for the “Very Best of GATFFEST” as part of this special retrospective showcase.

In addition to the screenings, patrons can enjoy a free-entry art display featuring finalists from the GATFFEST and World Academy of Art and Science Climate Change Art Competition. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

With a ticket price of JMD $5,000, patrons receive access to the full day of screenings and activities.
